Esta plataforma desarrollada por Team Europe en equipo con México busca contribuir a armonizar la recuperación económica con el cuidado del ambiente.
Esto permitiría:
1. atajar las amenazas que el cambio climático y la alteración de los ecosistemas representan
2. generar mejores condiciones de vida para un mayor número de personas
3. reducir la probabilidad y gravedad de futuras epidemias
This platform, developed by Team Europe together with Mexico, seeks to contribute to the harmonious uniting of economical recovery and environmental care.
This would allow us to:
1. contain of the threats posed by climate change and alterations in our ecosystems;
2. develop better life conditions that benefit a larger number of people;
3. reduce the probability and gravity of future epidemics.
La humanidad hace frente simultáneamente a la crisis del cambio climático, a la pandemia de COVID-19 y al impacto económico de ambas.
Humanity simultaneously faces the climate crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the economical implications of both.
La necesidad de planear y ejecutar estrategias para la recuperación es también una oportunidad para aumentar la ambición de nuestros países en términos de acción climática, conservación de la biodiversidad, inclusión y resiliencia social.
The need to plan and carry out strategies for recovery is also an opportunity to increase our countries’ ambitions in regards of climate action, conservation of biodiversity, social inclusion, and social resilience.
A esto se ha denominado la “recuperación verde” y en el contexto de esta discusión global, la Representación de la Unión Europea en México y sus estados miembros “Team Europe” desean robustecer la colaboración con México para hacerla posible.
This has been referred to as “green recovery”, and, in the context of the present global discussion, the Representatives of the European Union in Mexico and its Member States “Team Europe”, wish to strengthen collaborations with Mexico in order to make it feasible.
